Stand Up For America

Stand Up for America
The annual Stand Up For America extravaganza will take place this Saturday at the Nashville City Park amphitheater. This years headliner is country music star, John Michael Montgomery. Gates open at 4:30 with local entertaiment starting things off at 5:00. The patriotic tribute to the different branches of service is always a crowd-pleaser and will put goosebumps on your goosebumps. So be there to honor all of our former and current servicemen in attendance. John Michael begins his show at 8:00. Immediatedly following him will be one of the best and biggest fireworks shows you'll ever see. It's a great way to kick off the holiday and I hope to see you there. By the way, I'm going to give away two VIP tickets ($80.00 value) that will get you front row seating if anyone is interested. First come first served. Just send your contact info to the comment section, and if you're the first one to do so, I'll be happy to set you up with the best tickets on the grounds. I'll even throw in a VIP parking pass. How can you beat that offer. Rest assured I won't publish your contact information.

This is a great event that a local community came up with. I have been several times and all my family had a great time every year. However, a word of warning take lawn chairs and if you are lucky enough to win David's VIP tickets, take your ear plugs. The speakers they use are HUGE and the music volume is unbelievable when you are by the stage in the VIP section.
Go America!

Are you not going to the big deal in Hempstead County on that day?

What about the big deal they are having in Hempstead County Saturday? That is your district!

Hope and Hempstead County actually celebrate the Holiday on the 4th of JULY. Not on some convenient weekend.

Are you trying to give Bubba a black eye or what?

Go USA

Anonymous knows there is not a planned event or celebration on that day in Hempstead County. He or she is either just making a poor joke or trying to influence someone that I'm not doing my job. I can't speak for any other elected officials, but I will be in Nashville on Saturday, with hundreds of my Hempstead and Nevada county constituents, honoring America.
